The Prayer Group
The Divine Mercy Prayer Group ( DMPG ) is a Lay Movement that adheres to and supports the Prayer Ministry of the Church and St. Joseph's parish.
The DMPGs remian faithful to the Gospel and the teachings of the Church and conducts its activities with the support of the pastor. Within this framework we learn to how to enrich our prayer-lives through the following activities:
* Praise & Worship
* Intercessory Prayer
* Dedicated Prayer Line
* Reflection on Bible reading & scriptures
* Inspirational & Thought provoking talks
The Divine Mercy Prayer Group first met as a informal prayer gathering of only 12 people at the Doummar's residence on Jan 13, 1994 under the guidance of Fr. D'Cruz.
After constant prayer the leaders were guided by the Holy spirit to have the meeting on Wednesday after the 7:30 pm evening Mass.
Once the gathering increased in size, the group decided to move to the church. This was accomplished on May 18, 1994.
Come, experience the power of Prayer and feel the Faith grow. DMPG meets every Wednesday, at 7:00 pm the Church Hall and is open to all the faithful.
